The 20th edition of the Malaga Spanish-language film festival kicked off with Álex De la Iglesia’s new thriller, ‘El Bar’, with an impressive cast led by Mario Casas, Blanca Suárez, Carmen Machi, Jaime Ordóñez and Secun De la Rosa.
A heterogeneous group of people are locked up in a typical bar in Madrid and the confinement will push their behavior to the limit. This is the premise of ‘El Bar’, the Atresmedia Cine production in charge of opening the new edition of the Malaga Festival.
The stars and director Álex De la Iglesia have gathered in the Andalusian city to present a film that “has it all”; drama, tension, comedy and, undoubtedly, a cast in a state of grace.
